My Bio

Hello there! I am a 20-something American that loves all things British, history, my pets (two ferrets, one dog), my friends and family, reading, writing, nature, anime/manga, dancing, singing, music and of course photography.

I love the challenge of photography, and how there is such a massive variety of it. Photography is and always will be a hobby of mine, but it's one that's very therapeutic for me, and one that I take seriously. I hope to one day be at the skill level to make a little bit of money off of my pictures, but that's in the future for sure. I have quite a bit to learn before I can do that! XD

As for my pictures, I live in the middle of the woods, so more often than not, my pictures are of my surroundings and in my back yard or neighborhood.

I swear I don't bite, so leave me feed back on my photos and other works. It's the only way I'll really be able to improve. If you want to just talk for the sake of talking, feel free to drop me a note! Like I've said, I don't bite. :D

News (free stuff too!)

Well when I started school I had a camera and had planned to take plenty of pictures. My campus is really scenic. But in the first week someone stole my camera. XP This past weekend my parents surprised me by getting me a new camera! I was so touched and happy I started crying on the spot. I've decided to keep it at home though, just to prevent loss/theft and also so that it won't be a major distraction for me. But expect more pictures in the near-ish future! Now on to the free stuff. Yes, I did it! I wrote the short story and I've taken the self publishing route (honestly, after weighing all the options it's the only one that makes the most sense). I know I've been telling y'all about it for a while now, but it's finally here! Roses for Cassandra is a romance story, focusing on the dancer Cassandra and the stagehand Jason. It is free. I am seriously disturbed that this April Fool's prank is FILLED with Nazi references. Major General Whiskers is wearing an outfit that is the exact replica of Hitler's, minus the swastika. The propaganda posters are direct takes from pro Nazi propaganda that was posted all over Europe during WWII. The "Total Integration" is a direct reference to what happened in Germany when the Nazis took over and pushed out the Jews and integrated themselves into the lives of "good" Germans for their "protection".
